Research Analyst at Pumphrey Law

Dana Lane grew up in North Florida and has lived in Tallahassee for 15 years. Dana is a Research Analyst for the firm and comes to us with over 20 years’ experience in the criminal justice field, bringing her passion for fact-finding and analysis to our firm.

Dana attended Santa Fe Community College studying Criminal Justice, and later became a Certified Florida Law Enforcement Analyst. In addition she has training certifications in the areas of Gang Investigations, Cell Phone Data, Social Media, Courtroom Testimony, Financial Crimes, Crimes Against Children, Violent Crimes, Homeland Security, Internal Affairs and Crime Analysis & Intelligence.

Dana’s experience in criminal justice includes work in the areas of Jail Records/Booking, 911 Dispatch, Homeland Security, Office of Inspector General and most substantially, Analytical and Intelligence support in a wide variety of investigations and agencies.

When not helping out the Pumphrey Law team, Dana enjoys spending time with her family, working on home improvement projects, traveling and new adventures and has a love for chocolate, cheese and wine.

  • Managed a team of analysts responsible for providing intelligence and analytical support to investigations. 2015 – 2019
  • Earned “Best Overall Project” in DHSMV Leadership Academy Class – 2016
  • Obtained certification as a Florida Law Enforcement Analyst – 2010
  • Coordinated intelligence analysis management for Florida Gubernatorial Inaugurations – 2007, 2011
  • Supported Emergency Operations Center, Public Information (ESF14) during Hurricanes Charley, Jeanne and Frances – 2004
  • Served as a Guardian Ad Litem, Eighth Judicial Circuit (2000-2002)
