Example Case in Jefferson County

A man in Jefferson County was arrested for the alleged death of his son. According to the local report, 39-year-old Jason Imler was found dead inside a home in White Pine in September of 2021. Imler’s death was ruled to be a fentanyl overdose, resulting in an investigation to see where the deceased obtained the illegal substances.

Officials discovered that the fentanyl was distributed to Jason by his father, 64-year-old Jeffrey Imler. A grand jury in Jefferson County indicted Jeffrey, and he was arrested on January 17th, 2023, in Palm Beach County.
